Laura Berman Fortgang is an award-winning career and life coach, a radio and television personality and popular speaker, and author of motivational nonfiction books.

She began working in theater, supporting herself by waitressing and selling shoes.  She discovered personal coaching as a client. Two years, later, Laura became one of the first coaches in the US to go through a formal training program and subsequently, helped start the International Coach Federation.  Within five years, she was a national bestselling author with “Take Yourself to the Top” on the Reuters Bestseller List and appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show along with dozens and dozens of other national and international news and broadcast outlets.  Soon, Laura was speaking and coaching on several continents and across the US and four more award-winning books followed as she raised three children. In 2006, Laura became an Interfaith Minister and ran for political office as a first-timer in 2017.

Today, Laura is President and Owner of Intercoach, based in Montclair, NJ, which offers executive and career direction coaching. Her corporate clients include Eli-Lilly, Novartis, Johnson & Johnson, Ortho-McNeill Diagnostics, Glaxo-Smith Kline, Schering Plough, Sofani, McDonald’s, YUM Brands, Burger King, Kimberley Clark, Bloomberg and Smith College, Alabama Power and Light company.
