Willem Kuyken PhD is the Ritblat Professor of Mindfulness and Psychological Science at the University of Oxford, where he also directs the Oxford Mindfulness Centre. His work focuses on preventing depression, promoting mental health, and flourishing across the lifespan. Dr. Kuyken has published more than 150 journal
articles and has been named one of the world’s most cited researchers. He lives in London.
His new book, MINDFULNESS FOR LIFE (Guilford Press, September 2024) teaches core skills in easy-to-integrate ways that touch directly on life’s daily challenges.
Willem regularly gives keynotes and workshops around the world. His work has been covered in numerous media outlets including CBS, Maccleans, New Statesman, Le Monde, der Zeit, the Telegraph, the Guardian, the BBC and many others. I have authored blogs for the Oxford Mindfulness Centre, NIHR Dissemination Centre and the Huffington Post.
