Chelsea Tucker, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist who specializes in the cognitive-behavioral treatment of anxiety and anxiety-related issues in children, adolescents, and adults, with a focus on the role of family factors in the onset and maintenance of anxiety. Dr. Tucker earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in Psychology (school psychology concentration) at the University of Rhode Island (URI). She completed comprehensive practicum-level training at URI Psychological Consultation Center’s Child Anxiety Program. She completed her pre-doctoral internship in a large school district. Her post-doctoral training involved school and family consultation, as well as both clinical and neuropsychological assessment. Dr.
Tucker has provided clinical services to children, adolescents, adults, and families across a variety of of settings (public, private, and specialized schools, as well as in hospital outpatient and private practice settings). She seeks to help individuals and families effectively cope with and embrace life’s ups and downs, feel empowered, and achieve their goals. Dr. Tucker is the founder of High Performance Parenting and serves as co-director, along with Dr. Ellen Flannery-Schroeder. She is an avid reader of all things psychology and personal development and co-authors an upcoming self-help book on parenting.
